BORNEO TRAVERSE

Day 01
BALIKPAPAN - SAMARINDA
Arrival at Balikpapan Airport meeting service and direct transfer by car proceed to Samarinda, check in at hotel.

Day 02
SAMARINDA - KOTA BANGUN - MUARA MUNTAI
From hotel by car to Kota Bangun and then by motor canoe cross the Semayang Lake to Muara Muntai (on the way try to watch the fresh water dolphins). Spend the night and get dinner at Muara Muntai.

Day 03
MUARA MUNTAI - TANJUNG ISUY - MANCONG
After breakfast by motor canoe cross the Jempang Lake for Tanjung Isuy to observe the culture of Dayak people, further going to Mancong, on the way you will see the Probiscus monkeys and some bird. Meals and overnight at Long House.

Day 04
MANCONG - MUARA MUNTAI - MELAK
On the afternoon return to Muara Muntai to wait night boat to Melak. Meals and overnight on the boat.

Day 05
MELAK - ORCHIDS FOREST - EHENG
Arrival at Melak, by car visiting Eheng village (the old Long House), Kersik Luway natural orchids forest. Meals and overnight at Long House.

Day 06
EHENG - TERING - LONG BAGUN
After breakfast by car visiting Tering. Afterwards wait for the boat for cruise up Mahakam river. Meals and overnight on the boat.

Day 07
MAHAKAM RIVER - LONG BAGUN
On the way to Long Bagun you will see beautiful sceneries along both side of the river and small villages. Arrive in the afternoon at Long Bagun. Meals and overnight at local house.

Day 08
LONG BAGUN - TIONG OHANG
After breakfast by long boat cruise up Mahakam river through some amazing rapids and where you will see beautiful sceneries. Meals and overnight at local house.

Day 09 - 15
TIONG OHANG - MUARA HUBUNG
After breakfast continue the trip by motor canoe, proceed to starting trekking. Every day we trek approximately hill and mountain. Where you will enjoy the beautiful sceneries, fishing and experiencing the jungle. Meals and overnight in the jungle camp.

Day 16
JUNGLE - TANJUNG LOKAN
Every morning trek to Tanjung Lokan, on the way you can see the caves. In the afternoon arrive in Tanjung Lokan. Meals and overnight at local house.

Day 17
TANJUNG LOKAN - SURROUNDING
Rest at Tanjung Lokan and watch the Dayak activity. Meals and overnight at local house.

Day 18
TANJUNG LOKAN - PUTUSIBAU
In the morning after breakfast, full day trip downstreams on Bongan river by long boat to Putusibau, meet the Kapuas river. Meals and overnight at Putusibau

Day 19
PUTUSIBAU - PONTIANAK
In the morning sightseeing in town, afterwards by bus drive to Pontianak. Meals and overnight at hotel in Pontianak
